Slides – ZeroTwo

Create, edit, present and export slide decks in ZeroTwo Space

Slides are slide decks that live in Space next to your pages, Sites and images. Open them from Slides in the Space sidebar, below Pages. A deck works like a page: you and ZeroTwo edit it together, and it has comments, sharing and a chat beside it.

Find and organize decks

The Slides list has All, Pinned, Yours and Shared with you tabs, a search box that matches deck titles, and a switch between a list (name, modified date, size) and a grid of first-slide thumbnails. Each deck's … menu offers Rename, Pin, Share, copying a link or the deck as Markdown, Download as Markdown, and Delete, which moves it to Trash with an Undo option. People with view access cannot rename or delete.

Create a deck

  • Choose New slides on the Slides list to start a blank deck called "Untitled slide".
  • Use Slides in the Library's create menu, or the new-item action in a space, to start a deck or import a PowerPoint (.pptx) file.
  • In a page, insert Slide to add a deck as a subpage.

Decks start blank or from an imported file; there are no templates. To have ZeroTwo draft the content, ask in the deck's chat.

Edit slides

The toolbar adds a New slide from a layout, Insert text, Insert image (upload one or Generate image), and Charts, tables, and more for charts, tables and shapes. Edit selection opens formatting for the selected element, and each slide has speaker notes. Use Show pages or Grid view to move around the deck.

To ask ZeroTwo for changes, choose Request edits, select the parts of the slide you want changed, describe the change and choose Send; the request goes to the deck's chat. Show comments opens comment threads, and Slide activity lists recent changes.

Present and export

Present plays the deck full screen and skips hidden slides. Advance with a click, the right or down arrow, Page Down or Space, go back with the left or up arrow or Page Up, jump with Home and End, and press Esc to stop. The controls hide after two seconds.

Download exports the deck as PowerPoint (PPTX) or PDF.

Share a deck

Share opens the same dialog as pages: invite people by email as Can edit or Can view, and set link access. See Collaborate in Space.
